As part of this, we are focused on ensuring that our digital banking services are set up to meet these needs, and also to protect you and your money. We’re pleased to announce that from Wednesday 31st July, approved payee and IRD payments will be excluded from our daily payment limits within the SBS Internet Banking platform and Mobile Banking app. This update allows you to make payments to approved payees and IRD without affecting your daily payment limit. The $10,000 daily payment limit will still apply to payments made to other payees. We understand there may be occasions when you need to exceed this limit, and in these cases, our helpful Contact Centre team is available to assist you. We continue to work hard on making improvements to your digital payment experience. Our Contact Centre is open 7 days a week from 7am - 9pm weekdays and 10am - 4pm at weekends and the team is always happy to help. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that we will never ask you for personal information such as your Internet Banking password or the authorisation code that you may receive by text to complete a transaction.
