Dear Member, We wanted to let you know that from July 31 we will no longer be accepting cash deposits into SBS Bank accounts from third parties (people who are not the account owners or authorised to operate the account). Many other banks have already made this change. This will mean that anyone who regularly deposits cash into one of your SBS Bank accounts, will need to find an alternative means to make the payment, such as a direct credit through internet banking or asking their own bank to transfer the money to you on their behalf. We will still accept cash deposits from someone who is an account owner or is authorised to operate the account, and you will still be able to deposit cash into your own account.
